Description

The Masonry Restoration division of a local company is seeking experienced Field Journeymen.  We specialize in the professional repair and restoration of virtually every type of commercial and industrial masonry application; from the most technologically challenging repairs, to structural enhancements to waterproofing, coatings, cleaning and restoration.

Candidates will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out duties necessary to complete projects.  Will also be responsible for all tools assigned to the job site.

Candidates must be proficient in one or more of the following job categories:

  • Bricklaying, Stone Setting
  • Epoxy injection
  • Caulking
  • Pointing
  • Coatings
  • Cleaning
  • Structural concrete repair
  • Safe and proficient use of basic hand tools

Candidate must be able to operate numerous masonry and concrete repair tools. Must be able to work and communicate with owners, engineers, inspectors, etc.  Candidate must also be able to read, understand blueprints, and lead crew in completing assignments and accomplishing quality workmanship.  Candidate must be comfortable working at elevated heights.  In addition, the ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and for continuous periods of time is required.  Candidates must have reliable transportation.  Previous experience with commercial masonry restoration and repair is preferred.  Candidates must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and criminal history background check.

We are a trade contractor and must have field workers available for the locations in which the jobs are located; this may include out of town locations, weekend work or days and evening shifts.  We offer full benefits – Health – 401(k)

Salary Range:  $25 - $34 per hour depending on experience

Required Physical Abilities:

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, use stairs and move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis
Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper
Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephoneAbility to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
